Poster

What is it?

A milk jug in the form of a small milk carton; features a detachable top

What it does:

Stores milk for a limited period.
Pours milk.
Ideally this product is brought out when having guests over fo tea/coffee. Instead of getting milk out from the fridge every time someone wants it for a top-up, milk can be poured into this jug and left on the table.

Who is it for?

Suited for adults of any age who frequently socialise with friends and relatives. Ideal for people who love to drink a cup of coffee or tea at home with guests.

Design features:

Shaped as a small milk carton (metaphorical design)
Detachable top to allow easy pouring of milk into jug
Smooth and neat design
Simplistic in appearance
'Cute' design
Lightweight
Design can be a talking point among guests

the concept and look is great! its a little bit funny but not corny because the design is sleek and the lines work well. I think the angle that you ahve the opening at is aesthetically great but would it make the act of pouring the milk a bit hard seeing as its like a half-opened container?

I really like the slide in and out way of closing and opening the container. It would be awesome to own and looks like an art work of some sort. The all white of the product makes it look really clean and neat, and would probably go well with its environment. The concept of using the form of a disposable milk carton, into something clean and unique.

Maybe the target market is a younger demographic, because I would imagine an elderly target market who have tea parties would want something that looks more expensive.

I like the shape it gives you the impression that it is really the actual milk carton. But would it be hard to hold the jug because there are no handles. where you have to actually grab hold the body to pour milk. I mean if there was a handle or some sort of thing that could support the hand from holding the milk jug it would be better to avoid accidents from hand slipping.

Your design is so cute and therefore like Jess said I think your target market should be aimed at us from 18 to 30 yrs old. Perhaps, the opening could be a little bit more sharp so only a small amount of milk will be poured with greater accuracy as well as an elderly has less stability in using their hands. The aesthetic works really well though, It's clean and sharp and easily fitted into any type of interior scheme.

Nice design, maybe a little awkward to hold but ascetically pleasing. Clean lines and good shape. The idea of pouring milk from a milk cartoon has nostalgia associated with it. Its great but what happens when you want to use it for another liquid say juice...its novelty is lost. i like it though different look to the many jugs on the market

i like your concept.
you have nice shape and lines
however i think you could have developed a opening part to have better convenience.
